Kirsten Dunst makin' it big

Kirsten Dunst is soaking up her increasing fame - and with it, apparently, quite a bit of booze. The party girl turned up to the New York premiere of her latest movie, Elizabethtown, looking "disheveled", the New York Post reported.

After staggering up the red carpet, 23-year-old Dunst hit the swanky after party and started to "drink a lot and got very loud and obnoxious", one witness said to the Post.

Dunst's rep, Stephen Huvane, rushed to pour cold water on the claims, saying: "This is mean-spirited and absolutely false."

Last week the sexy star told US talk show host Jay Leno in Los Angeles she had swapped the food in her fridge for discount plonk.

"I stock up on Veuve Cliquot champagne. I buy it from Costco - cheap there. I have lots of alcohol and no food in my fridge," she said. The Spider Man star was unfazed when Leno expressed concern, joking it was her time to endure that all-important celebrity rite of passage - time out in rehab.

"Maybe in a few months you will see me in a rehab clinic," she said.

She's set to star in a new film about US aid worker Marla Ruzicka, who was killed in Baghdad in a suicide attack in April this year.
