LINDSAY LOHAN : CONFLICTING REPORTS

Lindsay Lohan reportedly raised a screaming ruckus at a New York City hotel Monday night, seemingly over a conflict with rumored flame Calum Best -- though reports on exactly what happened differ. THE NY POST's PAGE SIX claims that Lohan and Best got into a "screaming match" at the Soho Grand that started in the penthouse and ended up in the lobby. "Calum's clothes were torn, and after a few minutes, they got back into the elevator and went back to their room," reportedly said one onlooker. THE NY DAILY NEWS' RUSH & MOLLOY have a different take, reporting that Lindsay returned to the hotel with friends (Best not among them) and "was screaming about how Calum was cheating on her," claims a source. According to their report, Lohan and Best have been staying in separate suites, and Lohan was "gently escorted to her suite" by hotel management when guests complained about the screaming. Both reports say that Lindsay and Calum were at Stereo together the following night, and both claim that friends of Lohan do not approve of Best and his treatment of Lindsay. A rep for Lohan had no comment when contacted by PAGE SIX, but Lindsay had a comment of her own for Access' Dish of Salt correspondent Laura Saltman last night. When asked about her busy week traveling between The Bahamas and New York, Lindsay replied that she'd been in New York for a while, adding, "Don't you read the New York Post?"

Olsen Twins as Bond girls?

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are set to be the first Bond girl twins.
The two sisters are in talks to appear in the next 007 adventure, tentatively titled 'Bond 22', starring Daniel Craig as the suave British spy.
In a bid to secure the 20-year-old sibling stars, producers are offering Mary-Kate and Ashley a clause in their contracts stating they will not have to strip off or shoot any sex scenes, according to online gossip columnist Janet Charlton. advertisement
If the twosome accept the offer they will reportedly play characters who help Bond with his mission.
Other beauties rumoured to be starring in the hotly anticipated film include Dutch actress Carice van Houten and Australian star Abbie Cornish, who recently appeared with Russell Crowe in 'A Good Year'.
'ER' actor Goran Visnjic is mooted to be playing a villain, while Dame Judi Dench and Giancarlo Giannini will reprise their roles as M and Rene Mathis respectively.
Shooting on the movie is due to start in 2008.

Lindsay Lohan rules

According to Maxim magazine, at least this month, she's the hottest woman in the world. advertisement

The "Georgia Rule" actress-troublemaker tops the magazine's eighth annual "Hot 100" list, a ranking by editors weighing buzz and beauty for women in film, TV, music, sports and fashion.

"There is no other star in the world (who) causes more of a stir in the public eye than Lindsay," said Maxim Editor in Chief Jimmy Jellinek in a statement. "Her every move is watched and reported on."

Not surprisingly, Jellinek described his young, male readership as being "obsessed" with the 20-year-old Lohan, a ubiquitous party girl who spent the weekend soaking up the sun (with a new boyfriend) in the Bahamas.

Jessica Alba had to settle with the No. 2 on the list, which is in the magazine hitting stands Saturday. She's followed, in order, by Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Biel, Ali Larter, Eva Mendes, Rihanna, Eva Longoria, Fergie, Sienna Miller, Angelina Jolie, Beyonce Knowles and Katherine Heigl.

Celebrity sisters Ashlee and Jessica Simpson are on the list at No. 16 and No. 41, respectively. Ashley Olsen, half of the mogul acting twins, placed 37th, while sister Mary-Kate didn't make the cut.

The cover of the Hot-100 June issue features a picture of No. 29: Sarah Silverman.

Paris Hilton Scared Right Now

Paris Hilton is "really scared" by the prospect of her impending jail sentence - but has thanked her supporters for "keeping her strong." The law-breaking socialite, 26, was sentenced to 45 days behind bars earlier this month, after violating the terms of her 2006 drunk-driving arrest - but will now serve a minimum of 23 days in jail, according to the L.A. Sheriff's Department.
And although she's not looking forward to a jail term, she insists the support of friends and family has kept her spirits up.
She says, "I'm really scared right now, but I'm trying to stay strong. I've been concentrating hard on keeping busy with workouts and my family. I'm doing OK. All the support I have had from people has really helped."
The star was keen to point out she has been behaving herself since her punishment was announced: "I haven't been going out. I'm being a good girl."
Hilton is currently appealing her jail sentence, which she must begin serving on June 5.

Beyonce Doesn't like candy

Everyone on a diet should be able to write up a little note to the outside world asking them to kindly participate in their diet plan. Imagine not having any temptations around you while you are trying to shed a few pounds? I LOVE IT. While in Denmark, Beyonce made sure that she let people know what she wanted around her using her concert rider. Here is what she had to say about food:

Beyonce could have put anything on her rider at a gig in Denmark but her strict diet means she had to order: “Boston Market rotary chicken, garlic steamed broccoli, steamed spinach, green beans, fresh fruit, sugar-free jello and Pepsi products only.”

Special notes included: “Do not, under any circumstances, place candy, chocolate or crisps in the room. Dressing room shall be 78°F/25°C at all times.”
